Nestled within the Universal Studios Resort more specifically near Epic Universe, the Terra Luna Resort is a delightful retreat that combines luxury with convenience. From the moment you step into the lobby, you are greeted with a space-like ambiance characterized by modern decor. For my birthday this year we decided to stay here as it was the opening day for the resort and since Epic isn’t open the price was amazing! As always, you can follow us through our visual storytelling as well over on YouTube, and believe me, you won’t want to miss all of our Universal Epic universe videos we have lined up.

Accommodations

The accommodations at Terra Luna are not just spacious; they are a harmonious blend of comfort and style, with plush bedding that promises restful nights and all the modern amenities you could desire. Opting for the pool view is a delightful choice; although it might not overlook Epic Universe (if you choose pool view), the serene vista is captivating in its own right. Each room in this hotel features uniform elegance with two cozy queen bed options, making it perfect for families. What truly stands out is that this budget-friendly resort offers an experience that feels anything but cheap, allowing you to indulge without breaking the bank. Check out the walk through below.
Amenities

Enjoy a zero-entry pool with a hot tub, lounge and table-top seating in the pool area, select outdoor games, a fitness center, a game room (fees apply) and a Universal Studios Store.
Dining

The resort boasts an inviting main dining area known as the Omega Cafe and Market, where guests can indulge in a delightful culinary experience. Just steps away, the Moonrise Bar and Grill awaits by the sparkling pool, offering refreshing cocktails and tantalizing bites under the sun. Additionally, the vibrant Luna Bar in the lobby beckons with expertly crafted drinks, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.

A quick rundown of the food items: The one item that we found to be decent was the turkey burger. A step away from a traditional burger, it hit just right on this day by the pool. The cauliflower bites and buffalo wings were also tasty. Overall, it was a great meal to enjoy while sitting poolside. Cocktail-wise, the standout one for me was the refreshing Nebula. Recently, I have been exploring all sorts of mezcal cocktails, so I gravitated to this one.
Location

One of the standout features of the Terra Luna Resort is its prime location. Located in the Epic Universe area of the resort, you are a short bus ride away from Epic. Since Epic is not yet open, we are unsure if this is a walkable distance, but it doesn’t appear to be a comfortable walk from Terra Luna. Stella Nova across the street does look walkable. Trust us when we say there is a world of difference between the two resort locations. To get to CityWalk and the rest of the Universal resort, take the buses located out front. We didn’t end up trying this, but it’s a bit far, and it will be interesting to see how guests react to this. If we were building a trip to Universal, we would probably split our days between stays to avoid too much bus time. each day when going to different parks. Time will tell on this one.

Conclusion

.Overall, Terra Luna Resort is an excellent choice for anyone seeking to experience a blend of relaxation and adventure during their visit to Universal Studios Orlando. With its comfortable accommodations and extensive amenities, it offers a memorable experience that makes your trip unforgettable. With its proximity to Epic Universe and its lower price point, this hotel, along with Stella Nova, will be very popular among guests. Highly recommended!
