Arguably the most popular at EPCOT is the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This year’s festival runs from August 29th through November 23rd, 2024. Getting into the spirit of the world showcase, the Food and Wine Festival adds an impressive amount of food booths or global marketplaces, as Disney calls them. Let’s dig in and see what we find! As always check out our YouTube Channel to see our Disney Kinda Life in a visual storytelling format!
Also typical of EPCOT festivals there is a decent lineup of musical talent that will be performing nightly at the festival which is called, “Eat To The Beat“. the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival offers a lot to do, and at the heart of it is the food, so let’s grab Remy, and a pickle milkshake and start on this culinary journey together.
Most of the global marketplaces are in the world showcase. However, some have made their way into the neighborhood section of EPCOT at the front of the park. As we go through this article, we will lay out the food we tried in the order we ate them for our VLOG where we tried to eat as much as we could for one hundred dollars! Be sure to check that out here!
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Global Marketplaces
Macatizers
This booth at the newly opened CommuniCore Hall was an absolute gem that we couldn’t resist exploring! Who doesn’t adore mac and cheese? As lovers of this ultimate comfort food, we were excited to discover Macatizers, which offers three unique spins on this classic dish. Feeling a bit indulgent, we opted for the luxurious truffle Mac and Cheese. Each bite is a heavenly experience, bursting with the rich, earthy essence of truffles and a generous layer of gooey cheese that leaves you craving more!
Coastal Eats & Flavors from Fire
We stop outside Creations at Coastal Eats and Flavors From Fire. First up from Coastal Eats is the Roasted Warm Water Lobster Tail. This item returns from the Flower and Garden festival. We recommended it then and continue to do so now! Being able to just grab a Lobster tail in EPCOT for $13.00 just feels and tastes so awesome!
Flavors From Fire is one of our go-to stops at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival; this year, they improved their offerings. We ordered the Steakhouse Blended Burger And brought it over to Brew-Wing lab to eat it.
Brew-Wing Lab At The Odyssey
The famous Pickle Milkshake makes its return to the Odyssey building, as does the overlay of Dr. Honeydew and Beaker. I once again braved it and ordered the milkshake, which I enjoyed with a new item for the year with the longest name ever: The Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper Curry Wings. Being in a Disney park, we weren’t sure how spicy these would be, considering they have Caroline reapers in them, but they did a good job in making them only a bit spicy. I will say, though, if you are not a hot food eater, then I would stay away.
Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with the unexpected sensation that is the Smokehouse Burger from Flavors of Fire! This delightful little slider bursts with an explosion of bold flavors, and with a sprinkle of our beloved truffle essence, it transforms into an irresistible, hand-held delight that you won’t want to miss!
Mexico
At the Mexico global marketplace, we decided to grab a dessert. The Pan De Elote is Mexican cornbread with chocolate sauce. We enjoyed this one, as the chocolate is a bit salty but really plays nicely with the corn.
Germany
Our stop in Germany was to grab one of our returning favorites from the festival. It is also one of those words I cannot say no matter how hard I try: Schinennudeln. Schinennudeln is German for tasty pasta gratin with ham and onions. Typically, we love this dish, but this time, it felt very dry. I wouldn’t let that stop you from trying it though as we usually like this dish a lot.
Spain
One of the more extraordinary culinary delights we couldn’t resist was the Paella Negra. This dish features squid ink rice, which transforms the rice into an intriguing shade of black! Nestled within this delightful creation are succulent scallops, elevating our love for this dish to new heights. We can’t recommend it enough—it’s truly a must-try!
Belgium
We felt like we needed a pick-me-up, so we stopped in Belgium for their chilled Belgian coffee. This non-alcoholic drink gave us the energy we needed for the rest of our culinary journey today. Also we paired it with Brazil’s dish below.
Brazil
No Food and Wine festival is complete without grabbing the famous Brazilian cheese bread Pao de Queijo. A must try for anyone who loves bread and cheese. Also, a side note: you can grab this at Skipper Canteen at the Magic Kingdom year-round
Milled & Mulled
One of the new booths has one of our old favorites the Freshly Baked Carrot cake migrated from America over to this booth and we of course had to get it! Served warm this one always hits the spot for us.
Forest & Field
Right next to Milled & Mulled stands a charming new pavilion, home to a much-anticipated dish: the Autumn Chili. Bursting with various flavorful ingredients, this dish will surely capture your attention. Moreover, its hearty portion size might satisfy you pleasantly, especially if you’ve already indulged in several other dishes beforehand.
Earth Eats
For our final food stop, we wanted to grab a final dessert: the Lemon Poppy Seed Cake. As you saw in our vlog, we were setting up to get as close to one hundred dollars for the day and wanted that final purchase to be a celebratory drink
Hawaii
Our final stop was to grab the Aulani Sunrise; I guess we should have called it a sunset as this would be our final purchase for the Food and Wine Festival. This drink was a refreshing way to end our day!
