Let’s talk Halfway to Halloween! Halloween is our favorite time of year. Of course the holiday season that follows is a close second. If you have kept up with our newly created blog, you have already seen two Halloween posts for Universal. Those are centered around their Halloween time event Halloween Horror Nights.
Disney made an announcement yesterday , but not about any of their event. Rather a real quick hit to celebrate “Halfway to Halloween”. Let’s be real though, Halloween starts around mid August in Disney terms. For instance “Boo Bash” started August 10th at Disney World last year. We aren’t complaining though. More boo the better!
Yesterday’s announcements are more than likely a precursor to official announcements about this year’s after hours parties. This comes in the form of delicious and booeautiful snacks! Let’s take a look at a couple, and also let you know where you can score these if you are in the area.

Conclusion on Halfway to Halloween
The snacks listed above are interesting sounding to say the least, but what we really want are some announcements about what is coming to Halloween season for the parks. These will be more than likely announced on Thursday. Keep an eye out here for any announcements.
There are two places you can catch the Halloween vibe on social media. The first one will happen Wednesday April 27th at 8pm EST on Disney’s twitter feed found here.
The second spot for news is on Disney’s Tik Tok starting at 10pm EST, and will be live from multiple Disney parks, and cruise lines!
We are anxiously awaiting the after party announcements which we feel should come on Thursday, but let’s hope for a full Halloween party come back in the form of Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP). We enjoyed Boo Bash last year, but it still didn’t compare to MNSSHP.
Regardless of how the after parties look this year you can bet we will be there to bring you some coverage. How about you do you prefer Halloween time at the resorts, or the Holiday season?
