It’s Easter time and it is time to explore one of the more unique things you can do at EPCOT. With the Flower and Garden Festival in full swing, there is no shortage of things to do. For $9.99, you can pick up a map and search out cute little decorative eggs around the world showcase in EPCOT. We decided to do this and post a full spoiler location of each egg plus our thoughts on the experience.
We start our journey at Pin Traders right across from Spaceship Earth. Here we picked up our Egg-stravaganza map. To our surprise we got our 20% AP discount so that was a nice surprise. We proceeded towards Starbucks to grab a beverage to carry with us while we embarked on our furious egg hunting. Warning SPOILERS ahead on the location of all of the eggs.
First stop is Canada to find the Goofy egg. Walking into the Canadian pavilion you will need to hang an immediate right and head towards Le Cellier Steakhouse and inside the garden across from the entrance to the restaurant, you will find the Goofy egg.
The next two eggs, Scrooge McDuck and the White Rabbit, are located in the England area. Scrooge’s egg is technically in a little alcove right before England named World Showplace Events Pavilion. You can really miss this one if you aren’t paying attention but it is across from Joffrey’s. The White Rabbit can be found perched up top a pillar in the hedge maze area of England in the back.
Next on our trip we land in France and Morocco to find Daisy and Thumper’s eggs. Daisy’s egg was straight forward to find. On the way to the Ratatouille attraction she can be seen on the right side on the pathway. Thumper’s egg took us a bit to find as it is not really in the Morocco pavilion but more towards the Japan Pavilion and close to the lake.
Next up is the lovable Figment egg. This one is our favorite one for obvious reasons. I mean come on Figment is so darn cute! He is located in the Japan pavilion in the garden next to the pagoda. We thought that this egg looks the best but we are probably biased towards Figment. Judge for yourself with these two photos of him.
Onto the American and Italy pavilions to find the most famous couple there is, Mickey and Minnie mouse. Minnie’s egg is quite hidden and can best be seen on your approach from the Italy side and heading into Regal Eagle Smokehouse. To find Mickey, you need to wander deep into the Italy pavilion and look up high on the left where Mickey is watching over things.
Moving on to the German and China pavilions next we will find Pluto and Chip’s egg. Do you know the secret to Identifying Chip vs Dale? Just remember that Chip has the tooth and Dale has the red nose! Anyways let’s not forget Pluto’s egg first. He is inside the German pavilion on a balcony overlooking the entrance. Now for the somewhat long walk between Germany and China to locate Chip’s egg, it can be found in the little garden in the front of the pavilion. It really is peaceful in this section, I suggest you take a couple mins to enjoy it. Little spots like these make you forget how busy EPCOT can be.
Time to finish off this egg hunt and locate the last two. Respectively, Dale and Donald can be found in the Norway and Mexico pavilions. I would say that Dale’s egg is probably the hardest one to find as it is on top of a roof. Also unbeknownst to us this building actually has real living grass on it complete with a sprinkler system. Sitting on that grass on the roof is Dale’s egg. Donald’s egg was a bit more straight forward to find on a balcony across from the Mexican pyramid.
Well we did it! We found all 11 eggs in the world showcase. Once you complete your map by placing the corresponding stickers on it, you can turn it in for a free gift. A choice of one of three reusable cups. We opted for the Figment one pictured below. There are two other designs that we will let you discover on your own if you so wish. Our final verdict on this activity is very enjoyable and fun. This would pair nicely with a family day at EPCOT in which the adults can drink or eat around the world while the kids are searching for these eggs. What do you think? Would you try this activity?
