This Kobe Beef Smelled So Good Even Raw!!!

If you’re a steak person, visiting Kobe, Japan, and not trying Kobe beef would be a missed opportunity. When experiencing the best of Kobe beef, I took the search for a steakhouse seriously. Mouriya Steakhouse was a great choice because I could navigate their website easily for reservations.

Located in the heart of Kobe, Mouriya has been serving top-quality, melt-in-your-mouth Kobe beef for over 130 years. The restaurant’s skilled chefs prepare the meat with precision and care, ensuring each bite is a heavenly experience. Our chef was incredibly graceful, precise, and accommodating in our picture-taking of the cooking process. Also worth mentioning is that they cook the whole meal in front of you, which is excellent!

The ambiance at Mouriya Steakhouse is elegant and traditional, with private dining rooms available for a more intimate experience. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and happy to help you navigate the menu if you need help with what to order or need help speaking or reading Japanese.

As for the Kobe beef itself, it’s hard to describe how delicious it is. The meat is so tender and flavorful that it almost melts in your mouth. Each dish is served with various accompaniments, including seasonal vegetables and sauces, adding to the overall dining experience. I can’t stress enough how good this beef was.

Overall, Mouriya Steakhouse is optional for anyone traveling to Kobe and seeking Kobe beef, as it is available at many places. Still, we wanted an experience, and this place delivered that. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as this popular restaurant fills up quickly, and you even have to prepay for it!

If you are wondering about the price, it is cheaper than anything you will find in the US. Also, you prepay for your meal which guarantees a table. Also, I think it’s worth mentioning that Lunch is cheaper than Dinner.
