Stepping into the realm of Tokyo Disneyland (TDL) is like entering a world of enchantment and wonder. And what better way to extend the magic than by staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel (TDH)? In this review, we’ll explore the allure of this iconic hotel and its captivating theme park view. From its elegant accommodations to its unparalleled proximity to the park, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel promises an unforgettable stay for Disney enthusiasts of all ages.

Initially, we didn’t plan on staying on-site while we stayed in Japan, and then we saw Tokyo Disneyland and were blown away by it. We decided to open our minds and consider on-site stays if we never return to TDL. We opted for one night with a theme park view, as I would be working the following day at 3 am local time.

Situated just a short walk from the gates of TDL, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel offers a prime location that ensures guests are always at the heart of Disney magic. As you approach the hotel, the Victorian-inspired architecture, complete with turrets and grand facades, transports you to a fairytale setting. The attention to detail is awe-inspiring, with Disney characters subtly incorporated into the décor.

The true highlight of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is its selection of rooms with theme park views. Imagine waking up to the sight of Cinderella Castle or the vibrant attractions of Fantasyland just outside your window. These rooms offer a front-row seat to the enchanting world of TDL and even Tokyo Disney Sea allowing guests to witness the park’s transformation from day to night.

The Tokyo Disneyland Hotel boasts elegant and spacious accommodations designed with comfort and style in mind. Each room is tastefully decorated with classic Disney touches and modern amenities, creating a harmonious blend of nostalgia and convenience. The attention to detail extends to the bathrooms, which are well-appointed and offer a touch of Disney whimsy. We will tell you that the Tokyo Disney Resort beds are not the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in, but we were quick to overlook that as the level of detail is impressive!

Also included with our particular reservation was a complimentary breakfast. This was served at The Dreamer’s Lounge, which creates an excellent setting for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for afternoon tea or cocktails. The hotel also offers two other restaurants, but since we only stayed one night, we did not try them.

Guests staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel enjoy exclusive benefits that enhance their Disney experience. Early admission to the park allows for precious extra time to explore the attractions before the crowds arrive, ensuring a more leisurely and enjoyable visit. Don’t laugh, but the spare time is 15 minutes before the general public. As I was working early in the morning, I watched people line up to get into TDL. The first people showed up around 4:30 am, pictured below.

As the morning continued, I watched the line grow and stared in amazement at the Cast Members (CMs) cleaning the park. I’ve included some shots of them from our room below. You will see some landscapers in the pictures below, but the CM who cleaned each pole has my respect!
