A third speculation map has dropped from our friends at Horror Night Nightmares. As we discussed in our previous two posts, Halloween Horror Nights Speculation Map, and Halloween Horror Nights Speculation v2 this event is our favorite and it is fun to, well, speculate on which properties will be included in the event this year.
To Recap: What type of event is Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) you ask? It is an event aimed at teens and up. I wouldn’t suggest young ones to visit this event as the crowd can be a bit rough. There is plenty of alcohol being served and also graphic scenes from horror movies being played out in the park. The event happens on weekends during September and October which is the Halloween season.
Halloween Horror Nights 2022 Dates

Mazes
Let’s get to the speculation. Already announced and confirmed are Universal Monster’s Legends Collide, and Halloween. Dropping off the map are: Stranger Things, and Wicked Growth 2. Keep in mind, these are only rumors at this point, however we are disappointed to see Stranger Things and Wicked Growth 2 fall off the map as we were looking forward to both of those. Having said that there are only two new mazes on the speculation map, and even one of them could still be Wicked Growth 2 in disguise.

Let’s start with the obvious, Stranger Things has been removed, and The Evil Dead came back (Doesn’t it always?) I will admit we were not excited about Stranger Things, but after watch this first part of season 4 we were excited to see Vecna! We absolutely loved the first part of Stranger Things, and felt it really went back towards season 1 in creepiness.
The only other new maze that showed up on this speculation map was Seeds of Extinction 2. Now it replaced Wicked Growth2, so it still could be Wicked Growth 2 which is what we are hoping for honestly. Wicked Growth last year was one of our favorite mazes to go through. Since we had frequent fear passes it became a weekly visit.
Conclusion
While there wasn’t too many new items on this speculation map it is fun to talk about them. We are now hoping Stranger Things shows back up, and Wicked Growth 2, but we would rather it replace Blumhouse if we could pick. We will leave you with some tips again. The fact the Weeknd is hanging around still is a bit surprising, although the latest magazine of Fangoria did feature him too.
Arrive early if you don’t buy the Express Pass, and avoid Friday & Saturday. The lines become a lot shorter the closer to closing time you get. See you in the fog, and the biggest tip, DON’T GO ALONE!!!!!
