We have our first official announcement for Halloween Horror Nights 31 (HHN31)! It’s none other than Universal’s flagship group of Monsters! Universal Monsters Legends Collide has officially been announced! Check out the promo video below.
As discussed in our previous post for HHN31 which featured version 2.0 of the speculation map, the Universal Monsters maze was basically this announcement minus one monster, but he is a big one, none other than Dracula himself!
Dracula, The Mummy, and The Wolfman are going to be terrorizing guests inside a maze with all three of them. We are huge fans of the Monsters in general, and it should be no surprise Universal continues to push them each year.
On the other hand, you could ask why did they announce the closure of the awesomely decorated Monsters Café on Friday the 13th? That is a story for another time though.
Thoughts on Universal Monsters: Legends Collide
We do love us some Universal Monsters, however our favorites are Frankenstein’s Monster and the Bride. They were featured last year though, but we will still miss them this year.
We are generally excited about this maze as it will more than likely have scenes where you walk between two legendary Monsters fighting each other. Those hallway scare scenes are always quite fun. Think Aliens vs Predator, or Freddy vs Jason! You walk between the scareactors and they try to grab you.
Seeing Dracula, The Mummy, and The Wolfman is sure to have some nice set designs too that involve crypt looking scenes. Pictured above is their figures from Horrified the board game. If you are into board games, monsters and pandemic give it a try.
Well that wraps up the first official maze announcement for HHN31. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments! We will see you in the fog, but remember never go alone!!!!
Also one administrative topic: The link to the boardgame may generate revenue for us if you click on it and buy something from Amazon. Don’t worry we won’t see what you buy, and this doesn’t make the price of products go up. We would greatly appreciate the support though.
