The self proclaimed “The World’s Greatest Hot Sandwich!”® is located in Disney Springs in the area which is labeled as “Marketplace” Earl of Sandwich provides a decent value for what you get. Now keep in mind you do have a good brunch time offering for a burger we talked about in our earlier article, STK Orlando Brunch. Earl offers you more flexibility though if you aren’t in a mood for just a burger or a limitation of the brunch hours.
The menu at Earl of Sandwich (EoS) is extensive with a lot of variety — offering breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and even pizza. Let’s face it though, we all go there for the sandwiches. The nice thing about EoS is every item on the menu comes in under $9.99 so you can eat relatively cheap. Disney Springs doesn’t exactly help you in that department too much, so it is nice to have a money conscious offering.
Our Favorites
We currently have two favorite sandwiches on the menu, Chipotle Chicken Avocado, and Ham & Swiss. Both offerings are hot sandwiches. Let’s dissect them.
First up is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado — grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar, avocado, lettuce and chipotle sauce. The mix of these items together are wonderful. The sandwich is warm overall but not the avocado which for me is key. The chipotle sauce spread on both the upper and bottom of the bread really brings out a great sandwich taste. We tend to order this one a lot and call it our number one go to sandwich at EoS.
Next up is the Ham and Swiss — ham, swiss, sour cream and mustard sauce. I know you are thinking why is this your second favorite sandwich. This one just hits right and served warm it really is delicious. Plus it can’t be so bad if it is on the menu right? Try it, I don’t think you will be disappointed!
Newest Sandwich Offering
This is what brought us here tonight 4/7/22, the Beefy Mac and Cheesy — roast beef, cheddar, mac & cheese, topped with cheesy sauce. Anyone who knows us knows we cannot pass up mac & cheese. Put it on a sandwich from EoS and we are in! For research purposes, we grabbed one of these to give you all our thoughts. In our opinion the bread is over powering on this one as well as the mac & cheese. It did not dethrone the other two above. I suggest getting the mac & cheese on the side which is good by itself and does not need to be in a sandwich.
Overall all verdict of Earl of Sandwich is very positive. A great value and a very quick service restaurant in the hustle and bustle of Disney Springs. Have you been what are your thoughts?
Yummmmmm. Ham and cheese for me. Mac and cheese on the side. I’m all in on this
